ACTION SHOOTING MATCHES

El Paso, Texas, and the Las Cruces and Alamogordo areas of New Mexico, are home to a number of great shooting clubs that provide plentiful opportunities to enhance your shooting skills by participating in local competitions.  The club membership, along with the shooters who partake in these matches, are welcoming, knowledgeable, and want to see you have fun and become a better shooter.  You do NOT have to be an experienced competitor to participate in these matches.  We invite, and encourage, you to come out and test your skills, and most importantly, HAVE FUN with our shooting community! 

Some of the matches that are available for you to partake in are:

-          USPSA (Pistol, Pistol caliber carbine)

-          Steel Challenge (pistol, Pistol caliber carbine, rimfire rifle and pistol)

-          Multigun (Rifle, pistol, shotgun)

-          IDPA (pistol, pistol caliber carbine)

New Shooters (USPSA/IDPA/Steel Challenge):

-          Required Gear/Equipment:

-          Firearm, including Pistol Caliber Carbine (9mm - .45cal)

-          Pistol holster (Must prevent access to the trigger)

-          4-5 Magazines

-          Approx. two hundred rounds of ammunition

-          Eye and Ear protection (Mandatory)

-          We encourage new shooters to show up early for setup/safety briefing.
